JUDGMENT J. P. Gupta, J. - This is the first bail application filed by the applicant under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of bail, who is in custody since 17.8.2020 in connection with Crime No.607/2020 registered at Police Station Multai, District Betul for the offence punishable under Section 436 of IPC. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is innocent. He is in custody since 17.8.2020. Charge sheet has been filed. Trial will take time due to Covid-19. Hence, he be enlarged on bail. 3. Learned P.L., opposed the application and prayed for its rejection. 4. Having considered the contentions of learned counsel for the parties it is evident that there is prima facie sufficient material to connect the applicant with the crime. It appears that the applicant has deliberately set ablaze the house of the parents of the girl with whom the parents have denied to marry him. In view of the aforesaid facts, at present the applicant is not entitled to get the benefit of bail. 5. However, if the trial is not completed within six months, the applicant may file a fresh application. 6. With the aforesaid, this application stands dismissed.
