ORDER : 1. This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed, questioning the inaction of respondent Nos.2 to 5 in considering the 6th representation of petitioner dated 11.01.2020 and permitting respondent to continue in occupation and use of premises illegally to run cinema theater, without valid license, declare the same as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India. 2. Though the petitioner made several allegations, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, placed on record, the entire proceedings undertaken by the authorities, competent to grant licence under Cinematography Act, while stating that the representation is pending with Revenue Divisional Officer for consideration of report submitted by the authorities. In view of stage of enquiry, it is appropriate to issue direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to complete the process within three (3) weeks from today. The counsel for petitioner is permitted to furnish copy of this order to respondent Nos.2 and 3, to act upon it and pass appropriate order. 3. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no costs. 4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
