JUDGMENT 1. Heard Mr. B. Borah, learned counsel for the accused-petitioner as well as Mr. NJ Dutta, learned Additional P.P., Assam, appearing on behalf of the State/respondent. 2. By this application, under Section 439 CrPC , the petitioner, namely, Kapil Das, has prayed for regular bail in connection with Chaygaon PS Case No. 1133/2019 registered u/s 380 IPC. 3. Perused the case records, FIR and documents annexed. 4. It is stated at the bar that the accused was arrested on 06.12.2019 and produced before the court on 07.12.2019 and since then he is behind the bar. 5. Learned Addl. P.P. also submitted that charge-sheet is not submitted and the statutory period has already elapsed. 6. Considering above, the accused-petitioner, named above, is allowed to go on bail in connection with the aforesaid case, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Kamrup (R), Amingaon. The application stands disposed.
