JUDGMENT Suresh Kumar Kait, J. - The hearing has been conducted through video conferencing. 1. Vide the present petition, petitioners seek direction thereby for quashing of FIR No.2135/2015, registered at PS - Shakarpur, Delhi and all other proceedings arising therefrom. 2. Notice issued. 3. Notice is accepted by learned APP for State and by the counsel for respondent No.2 and with the consent of counsel for parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal. 4. Petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2 got married 29.10.2013 as per Hindu rites and rituals. Due to extreme incompatibilities between petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2, they started living separately from 29.08.2014. 5. Petitioners and respondent No.2 entered into an amicable settlement vide MoU-cum-Settlement dated 07.02.2019 and settled all their disputes amicably. 6. Complainant is present in person and has been identified by SI Anand Pratap/IO and submits that matter has been settled and she does not wish to prosecute the matter any further. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes before this Court on behalf of petitioners that they shall pay the balance amount of Rs.2.5 lacs to the respondent No.2 within two weeks. 8. Let the said amount be paid to respondent No.2 within two weeks and receipt thereof be furnished to the IO concerned. 9. Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting petitioners any further. 10. For the reasons afore-recorded, FIR No.2135/2015, registered at PS - Shakarpur, Delhi and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 11. The petition is, accordingly, allowed and disposed of. 12. The order be uploaded on the website forthwith.
