ORDER : 1. This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed questioning the action of respondent Nos. 2 to 4 in not disposing the petitioner’s application vide No. DER011901269447 dated 12.10.2019, since more than 4 months, inspite of said application was made through online i.e. Mee-seva by paying required fee for mutation of revenue records and issuance of pattadar passbook, declare the same illegal and arbitrary. 2. Though the petitioner made several allegations against respondents, during hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court, to issue direction to respondents, without touching the merits of the case, to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 12.10.2019. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue also readily agreed to dispose of application of petitioner, dated 12.10.2019, if any, pending with the authorities. 4. In view of the submission made by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, I need not decide the truth or otherwise of the allegations made in the petition. This Court is conscious that no such direction be issued, in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in The Government of India vs. P. Venkatesh, 2019 (8) SCALE 544 wherein the Apex Court held that such orders, may make for a quick or easy disposal of cases in overburdened adjudicatory institutions. But, they do no service to the cause of justice. As the learned counsel for the petitioner himself requested to issue a direction to dispose of the application dated 12.10.2019, I find no other alternative except to issue such direction. 5. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to dispose of the application of petitioner, dated 12.10.2019, in accordance with law, within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no costs. 6. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
