Judgment Mr. Sanjay Kumar, J. CRM-19406-2020 The application is ordered. Exemption is granted as prayed for. CRM-M- 22464 of 2020 2. The petitioner is one of the accused in FIR No. 157 dated 09.07.2020 on the file of Police Station City 1, Abohar, District Fazilka, registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 384 and 120-B IPC. By way of this petition, he seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. 3. The case pertains to an agreement to sell allegedly executed on 19.08.2013. The petitioner was shown as one of the witness therein. This being the limited role attributed to him, this Court is of the opinion that it would suffice if the petitioner cooperates with the police. 4. The petition is accordingly allowed. The petitioner is directed to forthwith join investigation in FIR No. 157 dated 09.07.2020 on the file of Police Station City 1, Abohar, District Fazilka. In the event of his arrest in connection with the said case, he shall be released on bail upon his furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- along with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. He shall also abide by the conditions stipulated in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
