JUDGMENT : 1. Heard Sri Vidya Kant Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Chandan Agarwal, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation and perused the record. 2. By means of this writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus commanding the Deputy Labour Commissioner to decide the pending matter of the petitioner under the Employees Compensation Act, 1923 registered as Employees Compensation Application No.6 of 2016 3. Sri Agrawal, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation does not have any objection if the direction is issued for expeditious disposal of the pending application for compensation before the Deputy Labour Commissioner, namely, respondent no.1 to the writ petition 4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner with a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the pending matter before him being Employees Compensation Application No.6 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
