JUDGMENT Tejinder Singh Dhindsa, J. - Matter has been taken up through video conferencing via Webex facility in the light of the Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions. 2. Petitioner seeks benefit of regular bail in case FIR No.84 dated 14.2.2020 registered under sections 379-B, 341 I.P.C and sections 25, 54, 59 of Arms Act at Police Station, City Mahendergarh, District Mahendergarh. 3. Counsel for the parties have been heard. 4. Instant FIR came to be registered on the complaint of Ravi Dutt in relation to an alleged occurrence that took place on 14.2.2020. Complainant has alleged that while he was proceeding on a car he was intercepted by three unknown persons also driving in a car. On the threat of a firearm the vehicle was snatched as also Rs.1500/- from the wallet and a mobile SIM. 5. Name of the petitioner does not figure in the FIR. He has been implicated on the basis of disclosure statement made by a co-accused. 6. Prayer for bail has been vehemently opposed by learned State counsel by submitting that petitioner was involved in four other criminal proceedings. 7. However, such objection has been met by counsel for the petitioner by contending that in one matter petitioner has already earned acquittal and in the other three cases he has been granted benefit of bail. 8. Petitioner has faced incarceration since 10.3.2020. 9. Investigation in the case is complete and the challan already stands presented. Trial is still at the initial stage and would take time to conclude and particularly in the light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. 10. During the course of arguments it has gone uncontroverted that co-accused Chand Singh was granted concession of anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 16.7.2020 passed in CRM-M-12029-2020. 11. Yet another co-accused namely Darshan @ Sonu has been granted benefit of bail vide order dated 28.7.2020 passed in CRM-M-18238-2020. 12. In view of the above and without making any observations on merits, petitioner is held entitled to the benefit of bail. 13. Petitioner be enlarged on bail subject to satisfaction of the Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned. 14. Disposed of.
