JUDGMENT Anil Kshetarpal, J. - This is second petition for grant of bail filed by the petitioner pending trial in a criminal case arising from FIR No.05 dated 05.01.2014 registered under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Jhabhal, District Tarn Taran. 2. The alleged recovery from the petitioner is 210 grams intoxicant powder having salt Diphenoxylate which comes under commercial quantity. 3. The petitioner was granted bail vide order dated 28.02.2017. 4. However, thereafter, he absented from the hearing in the trial court on 28.03.2017 resulting in issuance of the non-bailable warrants. Thereafter, the petitioner was declared proclaimed offender. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has admitted that the entire prosecution evidence has already been recorded. He further submits that the petitioner does not wish to lead any defence evidence. The petitioner is the only accused in the case. 6. Keeping in view the fact that only the final arguments remain to be addressed which can be heard through Video Conference, Therefore, learned Additional Sessions Judge, before whom the case is pending, is requested to fix the date for hearing through Video Conference and make an attempt to dispose of the trial positively within a period of two months. 7. With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
