JUDGMENT 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioners case for settlement of his pension is pending consideration before respondent No. 4 and the petitioner would feel satisfied if respondent No. 4 is directed to consider the same and take a final decision thereon. 2. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and keeping in view the nature of relief prayed, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No. 4 to take a decision on the pending case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is made available to him. While considering the case of the petitioner, respondent No. 4 shall take note of the provisions of Article 242 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations as may be applicable to the case of the petitioner. 3. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
