JUDGMENT Gurvinder Singh Gill, J. - The petitioner Prithvi Singh @ Soma seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.213 dated 28.5.2020 at Police Station Kurukshetra University, District Kurukshetra under Sections 420 and 370 of Indian Penal Code and Section 24 of Immigration Act. 2. The FIR, in the present case, was lodged at the instance of Sawan Kumar, wherein it has been alleged that Prithvi Singh @ Soma (petitioner) had duped him of an amount of 12.50 lakhs on the pretext of sending him abroad. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties and all the differences have been patched up and that the complainant has no objection for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4. Mr. Pardeep Chokkar, Advocate for the complainant has endorsed the fact that the parties have indeed compromised the matter and has specifically stated that he has no objection for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties, no ground for custodial interrogation is made out. The petition, as such, is accepted and it is ordered that the petitioner, in the event of arrest, be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
