JUDGMENT Sreenivas Harish Kumar, J. - Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners' in both these petitions. Heard the learned High Court Government Pleader also. 2. The petitioner in Crl.P.No.1368/2020 is accused No.2 in Crime No.237/2019 registered by the respondent-police for the offences punishable under Section 143, 147, 148, 353, 332, 333, 307, 427, 324, 326, 188 read with Section 149 of IPC and Section 2(A) of Karnataka Prevention of Destruction and Loss of Property Act, 1991. 3. The petitioner in Crl.P.No.1381/2020 is one of the accused in Crime No.131/2019 registered by the respondent-police for the offences punishable under Section 143, 147, 148, 307, 120B read with Section 149 of IPC and Section 2(A)(B) of Karnataka Prevention of Destruction and Loss of Property Act, 1991. 4. Sri. Lethif B., learned counsel for the petitioner in Crl.P.1368/2020 submits that some of the accused in Cr.No.133/2019 and an accused in Cr.No.237/2019 approached this court seeking bail by filing Crl.P.776/2020, Crl.P.778/2020, Crl.P.860/2020 and Crl.P.No.957/2020. On 17.2.2020, this court allowed these petitions and challenging the said order the state has gone in appeal to the Supreme Court. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has now passed an order directing all the said accused to be released on bail. In this view the petitioner who is an another accused in Crl.P.237/2019 also becomes entitled to be released on bail. 5. Sri. B.S.Sachin, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in Crl.P.1381/2020 submits that the other accused in Cr.No.131/2019 were admitted to bail by this court on 27.02.2020 by disposing of Crl.P.1200/2020. In view of this order the petitioner herein becomes entitled to bail. 6. These two petitions are in relation to a commotion and altercation that took place in Mangalore on 19.12.2019 protesting against the amendment brought to Citizenship Act. In view of the order passed by the Supreme Court and the order of this court in Crl.P.1200/2020, the petitioners become entitled to bail. Hence the following : ORDER i. Petitions are allowed. ii. The petitioners shall be released on bail on each of them executing a bond for Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) and providing two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. The petitioners are subjected to the following conditions: a. They shall not threaten the witnesses and destroy the evidence in whatsoever manner. b. They shall regularly appear before the trial court till conclusion of trial.
