JUDGMENT Jay Sengupta, J. - This is an application praying for expeditious disposal of a proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 2. Affidavit-Of-Service furnished by the petitioner be kept on record. 3. Despite service of notice, no one appears on behalf of the husband/opposite party. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner/wife submits as follows. The petitioner/wife had instituted present proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as far back as in 2015. A small sum was granted as monthly interim maintenance allowance in 2016. Till date the main proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure could not be concluded. Long dates are being fixed. 5. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and I have perused the revision petition. 6. No prejudice would be cause to any one if an order pass for expeditious disposal of the proceeding. 7. The matter is, indeed, pending for an unduly long period. 8. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, I direct the learned Trial Court to conclude the proceeding as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment, preferably within a period of one year from the next date of hearing. 9. With these observations, this revisional application being C.R.R. 3067 of 2019 is disposed of. 10. Urgent certified photostat copy of this judgement, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible on compliance of all necessary formalities.
