ORDER : T. Vinod Kumar, J. 1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Energy, for the 1st respondent and Sri. R. Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos. 2 to 4. 2. The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is in relation to non-release of power supply to 20 Nos. of 3-Phase, 5 KW Domestic service electricity connections to its premises, despite the petitioner obtaining sanction Memos, on the ground of not producing occupancy certificate and insisting therefor. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in similar circumstances this court in W.P.M.P. No. 3057 of 2017 in W.P. No. 2608 of 2017 and W.P. No. 12358 of 2019, by it's order dated 13.02.2017 and 21.06.2019 respectively, directed the respondents therein to release the power supply to the building of the petitioner therein, subject to the compliance of the terms and conditions of supply of the respondents and the same can be withdrawn if an occupancy certificate is not obtained later from the Municipal authorities. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the power distribution companies does not dispute the above position. 4. In view of the above, and for the reasons alike, this Writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to release the power supply to the premises of the petitioner, subject to the compliance of the terms and conditions of supply and on furnishing an undertaking to produce the occupancy certificate from the concerned Municipality/Municipal corporation within a period of three (3) months from the date of release of power supply by the respondent authorities. If no such occupancy certificate is produced within period of three (3) months as specified above, it is open to the respondent authorities to take appropriate action in accordance with law. It is also made clear that the petitioner would be entitled to approach the respondent authorities seeking supply of power by furnishing the necessary undertaking in terms of this order only after the present lockdown period as announced by the Central and State Government on account of Covid-19 pandemic, gets over. 5. Subject to the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed off. No order as to costs. 6. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
