JUDGMENT Jay Sengupta, J. - This is an application praying for an expeditious disposal of an application under Section 127 of the Code filed by the petitioner/husband. 2. Supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 3. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner retired from his service with the South Eastern Railways in January, 2019. Presently, he is getting a pension of about Rs.27,000/- per month. However, the learned Trial Court granted Rs.23,000/- as monthly maintenance allowance to the wife/opposite party. Accordingly, the petitioner filed an application under Section 127 of the Code in May, 2019. Till date, the application has not been decided by the learned Trial Court. Considering the financial situation of the present petitioner, an order is required to be passed directing the learned Trial Court to conclude the proceeding under Section 127 of the Code as expeditiously as possible. 4. I have heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and have perused the revision petition and the supplementary affidavit. 5. No prejudice will be caused to anyone, if a direction is passed in respect of a prayer for an expeditious disposal of a proceeding under Section 127 of the Code. 6. It does not appear that the application under Section 127 of the Code is pending for an unduly long time. As such, I do not think that there is any need to direct the learned Trial court to expedite the proceeding. 7. However, it is expected that the learned Trial Court would conclude the proceeding under Section 127 of the Code as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. 8. With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of. 9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
