JUDGMENT 1. In this writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the process of recruitment initiated by the respondent-University for filling up the post of Campus Development Officer in terms of notification No. Estab./NTW/C&R/19 dated 02.09.2019 on the ground that the respondent- University has arbitrarily altered the essential qualification prescribed for the post so as to deprive the petitioner right of consideration. This Court, while issuing notice on 25.10.2019, permitted the petitioner No. 2 to participate in the selection process for the post in question and to keep the result of selection in a sealed cover. 2. The respondents allowed the petitioner No. 2 to participate in the selection process and kept the result of the selection in the sealed cover. Vide order dated 25.02.2019, this Court further directed the respondents to produce the result of selection in the sealed cover so that the fate of the petitioners could be known. 3. Mr. Ajay Vaid, Advocate in compliance to the order of this Court has produced before me the selection result in the sealed cover. Sealed cover was opened in the open Court. 4. On perusal of the minutes of the selection committee held on 28.10.2019 to finalize the Campus Development Officer, it is found that none of the candidates who have participated in the selection process are found suitable by the Selection Committee. 5. The minutes of the selection Committee produced before me in sealed cover are taken on record and shall form a part of record. In view of the aforesaid development when none of the candidates including the petitioner have been found suitable for the post, the necessary consequence thereof is that respondents may have to initiate a fresh selection process. 6. Be that as it may, this writ petition has been rendered infructuous and same is accordingly dismissed.
