JUDGMENT T. Rajani, J. - This petition is filed seeking to declare the inaction on the part of the respondents in division of the Wards as contemplated under Section 7 of the A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 and in not preparing the fresh voter list in newly formed Kotha Vellampalli Village, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard the counsel for the petitioner, the Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and the Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 3. No counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents, but with the consent of the counsel for both parties, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the stage of admission. 4. The counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard the respondents not dividing Wards as contemplated under Section 7 of the A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 and in not preparing the fresh voter list in newly formed Kotha Vellampalli Village, as per G.O.Ms.No.264, dated 30.1.2020, the petitioner has made a representation in Spandana Programme on 24.2.2020, but no action is taken on the said complaint. 5. Hence, in view of the above circumstances, the respondent Nos.4 to 8 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, voter list of Kotha Vellampalli Village shall not be prepared. 6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous application, if any, shall stand closed.
