ORDER : 1. Heard the parties through video conferencing. 2. Mr. Kumar Sundaram, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ application has been filed with a prayer for quashing and setting aside the letter dated 04.04.2016 and all such letters issued by the respondent- Petroleum Company whereby and whereunder the dealers of the adjoining areas, where the petrol pump of the petitioner is situated, have been called for interview to be appointed as a dealer on Ad hoc basis for the petrol pump which is being operated by the petitioner, without any rhyme or reason and without even serving a copy of any order of termination upon the petitioner. 3. It is next submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the writ application, both the parties have availed the alternative remedy of arbitration proceeding, vide order dated 14.06.2017 passed in this case and the sole arbitrator has made an award and the appeal filed against the award has already been disposed of. 4. Mr. Mrinal Kanti Roy, learned counsel appearing for the respondents also confirms the said facts. 5. As parties have already availed the alternative remedy of arbitration under the orders of this Court and orders have been passed in the original and appellate arbitration proceeding, no further order is required to be passed in this writ application. This writ application is disposed of accordingly with the consent of both the parties.
