JUDGMENT D.Ramesh, J. - This petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure seeking to quash the entire proceedings in F.I.R.No.173 of 2020 of Governorpet police station, Vijayawada, registered under sections 304(II), 308 r/w 34 IPC. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the petitioner was not shown as accused in the F.I.R, he was called number of times by the police and hence he has filed the present petition. 3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State has taken an objection that the present petition is not maintainable under section 482 of Cr.P.C when the petitioner was not shown as accused in the F.I.R and the petitioner is not entitled for quashing the said F.I.R and there is no question of quashing of F.I.R under section 482 of Cr.P.C. 4. In view of the objection raised by the learned Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that the petitioner was not shown as accused in the above said F.I.R, this petition is closed as not maintainable. 5. As a sequel, all the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
