JUDGMENT Jay Sengupta, J. - This is an application challenging an order dated 14.09.2020 passed by the learned Executive Magistrate, Bishnupur Sub-Division, South 24-Parganas in connection with M.P.Case No.1322 of 2020, thereby, inter alia, call for reports from the Police and the B.L. & L.R.O. about the dispute in question. 2. Let a copy of this application be served upon the learned Counsel Ms. Sukanya Bhattacharyya, who is present today and usually appears on behalf of the State. Her engagement may be regularized in due course by the competent authority of the State. 3. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that although the petitioner has challenged the impugned order, the petitioner would not like to press for the same and would instead pray that the impugned proceeding may be expedited. 4. Learned Counsel for the State submits that the State would not come in the way if a direction is passed upon the Executive Magistrate to dispose of the proceeding as expeditiously as possible. 5. I have heard the submissions of learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the State and have perused the revision petition. 6. It appears that by the impugned order, a report was called for about the dispute in question from the B.L. & L.R.O. and the Police. According to the learned Counsel of the petitioner, although the police have filed a report, but the report of B.L. & L.R.O. is still awaited. That is why the proceeding is still continuing. 7. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, I request the learned Executive Magistrate, Bishnupur Sub-Division South 24 Parganas, to conclude the proceeding as expeditiously as possible after obtaining a report of the B.L. & L.R.O. and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties, preferably within a month from the date of communication of the order. 8. With these observations, the revisional application and the connected application are disposed of. 9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
