JUDGMENT 1. By this application, filed under Section 438 Cr.PC , the petitioner, namely, Md. Manzil Hussain has prayed for pre-arrest bail apprehending arrest in connection with Sipajhar P.S. Case No. 02/2020 under Section 498(A)/307 IPC. 2. Heard Mr. N. Uddin, learned counsel, for the petitioner as well as Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the state respondent. 3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, the petitioner and his wife were residing in the rented house at Guwahati and parents of wife of the present petitioner threatened the father of the petitioner to sent the present petitioner and his wife to her paternal home and accordingly, the informant handed over his daughter and the petitioner to the father of the present petitioner and thereafter his daughter was subjected to torture by the petitioner and his parents and sister. 4. Case diary called for is received and perused. 5. Having considered the nature of accusation and the materials in the case diary, this court is of the view, that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary and as such, the prayer for pre-arrest of the petitioner deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, it is hereby provided that in the event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with one suitable surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. The pre-arrest bail is subject to the following conditions. 1. The petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days and co-operate with the investigation. 2. The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer. 6.
