ORDER : 1. Sri.Rajeshwara P.N, learned counsel for the petitioners. Sri.H.V.Devaraj, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 to 4. Taking into account the order which this Court proposes to pass, it is not necessary to issue notice to respondent No.5. The petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally. 2. In this petition, the petitioners interaliaseeks quashment of notice issued by respondent No.4 dated 27.12.2019 contained in Annexures A, B and C. The petitioners also seeks for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to restore the power supply in respect of installation in question. 3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the electricity supply to the premises of the petitioners has been disconnected without affording any opportunity of hearing to the petitioners on the basis of the complaint made by one of the alleged owner of the property. 4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 to 4 submits that an opportunity of hearing shall be given to the petitioners as well as to the complainant and thereafter, suitable action in accordance with law shall be taken and the respondent Nos.1 to 4 shall also restore the electricity supply to the premises of the petitioners pending adjudication of the complaint. 5. In view of aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to restore the electricity connection to the premises of the petitioners and thereafter to adjudicate the complaint filed by the alleged owner after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as to the alleged owner by a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
