JUDGMENT Cheekati Manavendranath Roy, J. - This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking quash of F.I.R. in Crime No.231 of 2020 of Vinukonda Town Police Station, Guntur District. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent Nos. 1 and 2. 3. The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.231 of 2020 of Vinukonda Town Police Station, Guntur District. A case under Sections 188, 420, 270, 272 and 273 IPC was registered against him with an allegation that he has been doing business in dealing with banned products like Gutka, Khaini etc. The said case is under investigation. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this is a covered matter and this Court has earlier in batch of criminal petitions, quashed several F.I.Rs registered for the similar offences based on identical facts. Therefore, he would submit that the petitioner is also entitled for quash of the F.I.R registered against him in view of the earlier orders of this Court. 5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would also concede that this is a covered matter in view of the earlier orders passed by this Court and thereby prayed to pass appropriate order accordingly. 6. As can be seen from the common order passed by this Court in Criminal Petition No.3731 of 2018 and batch, it is evident that this Court has quashed about 22 F.I.Rs registered for the similar offences based on identical facts. Therefore, the petitioner, who is similarly placed, is also entitled for quash of F.I.R that was registered against him. 7. Therefore, in view of the aforesaid earlier orders of this Court and for the reasons stated therein, this Criminal Petition is allowed and the F.I.R registered against the petitioner in Crime No. 231 of 2020 of Vinukonda Town Police Station, Guntur District, is hereby quashed. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
