JUDGMENT K. Lakshman, J. - This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner in Sessions Case No.48 of 2010 on the file of Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SC's and ST's (POA) Act, Nalgonda-Cum-VI Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nalgonda, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 506, 509 IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST's (POA) Act, to quash the proceedings in the above said crime. 2. During the pendency of the present Criminal Petition, the parties have compromised the matter and, accordingly, respondent No.1-de facto complainant filed I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2020 to record the compromise and to compound the offences in S.C.No.48 of 2010. 3. Vide order dated 20.10.2020, this Court, after recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondent No.1, directed the parties to appear before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court for their identification and also directed the Registrar (Judicial) to submit a report by 09.11.2020. In compliance with the said order dated 20.10.2020, the Registrar (Judicial) has submitted his report dated 16.11.2020. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for respondent No.1 would submit that petitioner and respondent No.1 are staying together now. 5. In the report dated 16.11.2020 of the Registrar (Judicial), it is stated that on oral examination, respondent No.1 has stated that she had filed a complaint against the petitioner and the same was registered as S.C.No.48 of 2010 on the file of Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SC's and ST's (POA) Act, Nalgonda-Cum-VI Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nalgonda, for the offences under Sections 506, 509 IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST's (POA) Act and that now she has approached this Court for recording the compromise. 6. The parties herein have filed a joint memo of compromise dated 15.10.2020. The said joint memo of compromise dated 15.10.2020 and the report of the Registrar (Judicial) dated 16.11.2020 are placed on record. 7. In view of the said report and also in view of the compromise entered between the petitioner and respondent No.1, I.A. Nos.1 and 2 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in S.C.No.48 of 2010 on the file of Special Judge for Trial of Cases under SC's and ST's (POA) Act, Nalgonda-Cum-VI Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nalgonda, are hereby quashed. 8. Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
