JUDGMENT CPSW No. 341/2016 1. The petitioners have filed the instant contempt petition alleging violation of order passed by this Court on 21.04.2016 in SWP No. 813/2016 in terms whereof this Court while disposing of the writ petition, directed the respondent No. 2 to finalize the selection for the post of Class-IV in Education Department District Reasi as advertised vide Advertisement Notice No. 1 of 2014 provided that there is no impediment to the finalization of the said selection. It was further provided that in case the department does not intend to make recruitment to the advertised posts for any reason whatsoever, decision in respect thereto be communicated to the petitioners. 2. On notice, the respondents have filed compliance report, perusal whereof reveals that the respondents have considered the matter in tune with the directions passed which has in resulted issuance of order dated 05.02.2020, in terms whereof the advertisement notice No. 1 of 2014 dated 24.01.2014 stands withdrawn ab-initio. In that view of the matter Court is satisfied with the compliance therefore, the contempt petition stands closed. 3. Mr. C.M. Koul, learned Sr. AAG shall provide copy of the order dated 05.02.2020 to the counsel appearing for the other side by tomorrow. The petitioners are at liberty to challenge the order if, so advised. The petitioner have filed the instant contempt petition alleging violation of order passed by this Court on 16.04.2016 in SWP No. 758/2016 in terms whereof this Court while disposing of the writ petition, directed the respondents to take a final decision with regard to the process of selection initiated pursuant to advertisement notice No. 02 Edu of 2014 dated 28.02.2014. 5. Statement of facts stand filed by the respondents stating therein that the selection could not be finalized /concluded pursuant to the process of selection initiated vice advertisement notice No. 2 Edu of 2014 dated 28.02.2014 on account of orders passed by this Court in SWPNo. 1090/2014. No useful purpose could be achieved by keeping the instant contempt petition pending, as such, same shall stand disposed of by directing the respondents to finalise the process in tune with the order passed by this Court.
