JUDGMENT : AVNEESH JHINGAN, J. 1. The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation. 2. This petition is filed for grant of anticipatory bail in case of FIR No. 84 dated 17.3.2021, under Sections 341, 323, 324, 148, 149 (later on added Section 326) IPC, registered at Police Station 'B' Division, District Amritsar. 3. The FIR was at the instance of Navdeep Singh. As per the statement on 11.3.2021, there was an incident in which allegedly Sahilpreet Singh @ Sohi (petitioner), Jarnail Singh, Lovepreet Singh Bhinder, Avtar Singh and Billa and three unknown persons armed with Dattar and Kirch etc., attacked the complainant and his brother Maninder Singh Sunny. As per MLR, the following injuries were inflicted. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been attributed simple injury. 5. The State has filed reply dated 19.6.2021 and the same is taken on record. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been attributed simple injury. 5. The State has filed reply dated 19.6.2021 and the same is taken on record. 6. Petitioner is attributed simple injury, he is young boy of 21 years old. From the allegations in the FIR there appears to be a previous incident for which the grudges were being carried. The petitioner is granted anticipatory bail subject to his joining investigation within ten days. In the event of arrest, he shall be released on bail subject to his furnishing adequate bail bonds to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. He is directed to join investigation as and when called for. He shall be bound by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 7. The petition is allowed. 8. In case of failure of the petitioner to join the investigation, the State would be at liberty to file an application for recalling of this order.
