JUDGMENT M. S. Sonak, J. -Heard Mr. Abhay Nachinolkar for the applicant and Mr. Vishnu Naik for the respondent. 2. In this case, Mr. Pramod V. Kamat, retired District Judge had been appointed as the Arbitrator. However, by communication dated 5th November, 2019, Mr. Kamat has informed the learned Counsel for the parties that he will not be in a position to continue with the arbitration proceedings because, he has been appointed as the Member of Real Estate Regulatory Authority for the State of Goa. Therefore, this application has been taken out to fill up the vacancy which has now taken place. 3. The learned Counsel for the parties propose the name of Senior Advocate Shri R.G. Ramani, to be appointed as the Arbitrator in place of Mr. Pramod V. Kamat. Mr. Ramani is present in the Court and has expressed no difficulties in accepting the assignment. He has stated that the statement of disclosure will be filed in the course of day. 4. Accordingly, this application is disposed of, appointing Mr. R.G. Ramani, Senior Advocate as an Arbitrator in place of Mr. Pramod V. Kamat. The fees of the Arbitrator will have to be borne by the parties in terms of the law and the rules, as applicable. 5. All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
