JUDGMENT Avneesh Jhingan, J. - The matter is taken up for hearing through video conference due to COVID-19 situation. 2. This petition was filed seeking direction to the trial Court to release the petitioner on anticipatory bail in FIR No. 171, Dated 13th August, 2018, under Sections 380, 454 IPC (Section 411 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Division No.7, Jalandhar. 3. The petitioner was granted bail by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar vide order dated 27th August, 2018. The mother of the petitioner stood surety but subsequently she intended to withdraw the surety bonds. Petitioner vide order dated 10th May, 2019 was directed to arrange a new surety by 12th July, 2019. The petitioner absented from the proceedings, resultantly his bail was cancelled on 12th July, 2019. 4. While issuing notice of motion the petitioner was directed to surrender before the Illaqa Magistrate within seven days and on doing so, he was to be admitted on interim bail to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court/Duty Magistrate. 5. On 19th July, 2021, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Satvinder Singh, submits that the petitioner has not surrendered. Today, the petitioner relying upon the zimni order dated 24th February, 2020 submits that petitioner surrendered before the trial Court and was released on interim bail on furnishing surety to the satisfaction of the trial Court. Learned State counsel is not in a position to dispute the said fact. 6. Considering that the petitioner surrendered and furnished surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court, the interim bail granted to him is made absolute. 7. The petition is disposed of.
