JUDGMENT 1. We list the entire group on 15th December 2021 on priority basis at 2.30 pm. Parties are put to notice that given the urgency, the hearing will continue on the following day or days. 2. The issue pertains to elections of various cooperative societies. In some matters in the group, there is a vires challenge and the matter is, therefore, within the assignment of this Court as per the current roster. If there are any other matters pertaining to the assignment of a Single Judge according to the present roster, we grant liberty to the Petitioners in those matters to obtain directions on the administrative side to have those Petitions assigned to this Court and tagged or clubbed with the present group, if not already done. 3. We are informed that in none of these cases have the matters progressed beyond the preparation of a provisional list or final list. Since this Court is a seized of the matters, no elections are to take place until the end of the day of 15th December 2021. Should an extension be required for any reason, separate directions will be passed on that date. However, the preparation of the provisional / final lists may proceed, but only until that stage. 4. All affidavits, replies and rejoinders are to be filed and all filings are to be completed no later than by 10th December 2021. 5. List the entire group on 15th December 2021 at 2.30 pm. 6. All concerned will act on production of a digitally signed copy of this order.
