JUDGMENT Ravindra Maithani, J. - The instant writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to release the pension arrears accumulated from 01.07.2020 to 01.01.2021 and gratuity of the petitioner with immediate effect. (ii) Issue a writ, order or directions, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case. (iii) Award the cost of the petition. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that having served Municipal Board, Nainital for about 24 years, the petitioner retired from service on 30.06.2020, but yet his retiral dues have not been paid. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.1 and 2, at the very outset, admits the claim of the petitioner and submits that due to paucity of funds, the payment could not be made in time and now it may be paid within a period of four months. 5. The Court takes on record the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents Nos.1 and 2. 6. The writ petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent Nos.1 and 2, to make all admissible dues to the petitioner within a period of four months from today.
