JUDGMENT 1. Mr. Prithvi Raj Singh Jodha, learned counsel for the respondent- University informs that the entire calculation of the revised salary in terms of the order passed by this Court has been made and the respondent- University would commence payment of the revised salary to the petitioners from 01.10.2021. 2. In relation to the arrears of the amount which is required to be paid to the petitioners, learned counsel submits that the aggregate amount is Rs.6 crores and the University is not having financial resources to make such huge payment at one go. 3. Having regard to the submissions made by Mr. Jodha, learned counsel for the respondents, it is hereby ordered that the respondent- University shall make and continue payment of revised salary to the petitioners from the ensuing month i.e., from 01.10.2021. 4. However, so far as payment of arrears is concerned, it is ordered that the respondent- University may pay 25% of the amount to each of the petitioners on or before 15.11.2021. 4. In case, the respondent- University makes payment of 25% amount of the arrears by 15.11.2021 and send appropriate proposal to the State Government, it will be required of the State Government to make reimbursement of such amount, as early as possible, preferably within a period of one month of lodging the claim for reimbursement by the respondent- University. 5. List these cases on 03.12.2021.
