JUDGMENT 1. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 2. By this petition, the substantive relief sought by the petitioners is as under :- "(i) That by an appropriate writ, order or direction, under Article 226 of our Constitution, this Hon. Court might be pleased to direct and command the Managing Committee of Respondent No.1, to exercise its statutory powers and authority and/or perform its statutory duty and obligation, under Article 26 of the Devasthan Regulations, i.e. the "Regulamento das Mazanias", approved by Legislative Diploma No.645 dated 30/03/1933 and amended by Diploma Legislative No.1898 dated 29/05/1959, by deciding the applications of the Petitioners for enrolment to the Mazania Catalogue, and to do so within a period of one month, or such other period as this Hon. Court may see it fit to direct." 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 states that all the applications filed by the petitioners in December 2018 will be decided by the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 in accordance with law on or before 10th February 2022. Statement accepted. 4. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in this writ petition. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to communicate the decision passed by the respondent No.1 to the petitioners within one week from the date of passing of the order. 6. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
