JUDGMENT 1. Petitioners have preferred this misc. petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 74/2020 registered at Mahila Thana (West), Jodhpur Metropolitan. 2. It is contended by counsel for the petitioners that parties have amicably settled their disputes and have filed application under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act before the Family Court. It is also contended that the compromise was produced before the Investigating Officer. As per the compromise, counsel for the complainant does not want to proceed with the FIR lodged by her. 3. Counsel for the complainant is present in Court and has not disputed the above facts that parties have entered into compromise and has no objection for quashing of FIR. 4. I have considered the contentions. 5. In view of the fact that parties have entered into a compromise and have already filed an application under Section 13-B of Hindu Marriage Act for divorce by mutual consent and counsel for the complainant has not objected for quashing of the FIR, I deem it proper to allow the misc. petition. 6. Accordingly, this Criminal Misc. Petition is allowed. FIR No. 74/2020 registered at Mahila Thana (West), Jodhpur Metropolitan is quashed and set aside. 7. Stay application stands disposed.
