JUDGMENT : SANJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI, J. 1. On repeated calls, nobody appears on behalf of the petitioners. 2. Heard Ms. Nehala Sharmin, learned A.P.P. appearing for the State. 3. This criminal miscellaneous petition has been heard through Video Conferencing in view of the guidelines of the High Court taking into account the situation arising due to COVID-19 pandemic. The party has not complained about any technical snag of audio-video and with her consent this matter has been heard. 4. The petitioners have preferred this criminal miscellaneous petition for quashing of the F.I.R. in connection with Pandu P.S. Case No. 37 of 2018, registered under Sections 341, 323, 325, 307, 456, 460, 504, 354A of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of Prevention of With (Daain) Practices Act, 1999, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj. 5. On 08.01.2020, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this matter was adjourned and the direction was there to the court below to proceed in accordance with law. Again on 23.02.2021, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this matter was directed to be listed under the heading for Orders. 6. Status report has been received from the Additional Sessions Judge-V, Palamau at Daltonganj, whereby, it has been informed that the case is fixed for hearing on the point of framing of charge. 7. This matter is of the year 2019 and at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this matter was adjourned on earlier occasions. 8. In this quashing application, F.I.R. is under challenge. In view of the nature of the allegation in the F.I.R., no relief can be extended to the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 9. In view of the above facts, the criminal miscellaneous petition stands dismissed.
