JUDGMENT : Rajiv Joshi, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned standing counsel for the State respondent. 2. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 2 to decide the petitioner's application No. 426/2005 pending for transfer of Arms License No. 359 and SBBL Gun No. 33/2704 in the name of petitioner within a stipulated time. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner has moved an application No. 426/2005 for transfer of Arms License No. 359 and SBBL Gun No. 33/2704 in his name, before respondent No. 2. But the concerned authority has not considered the application of the petitioner. 4. Learned standing counsel submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and an appropriate direction may be issued to respondent No. 2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merit of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2-District Magistrate, Jalaun, to decide the application of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of production of computerised copy of this order. 6. The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerised copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
