JUDGMENT : This writ petition seeks for a direction for an early disposal of CC.No.1534/2014 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court – I, Kollam. 2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the 2nd petitioner has been offered an admission in a college in Canada as evidenced by Ext.P3 and hence an urgency has arisen for disposal of the pending case. It is also pointed out that the case has been pending from 2014 and the liberty of the petitioner is curtailed on account of the pendency of the case. 3. Having regard to the fact that the 2nd petitioner has been offered an admission in a college abroad and that the pendency of the trial for the last seven years causes great prejudice and the delay affects the right and liberty of an individual, I am of the view that petitioners are justified in seeking a direction for an early disposal. 4. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court – I, Kollam to dispose of CC.No.1534/2014, pending on its files, as expeditiously as possible, keeping in mind the observations mentioned above. The petitioners are directed to produce a copy of this judgment before the Magistrate Court, within one week of receipt of copy.
