JUDGMENT : Sanjib Banerjee, J. It is submitted on behalf of the High Court administration that the three vacancies that existed in the Special Courts pertaining to MPs and MLAs have been filled up. 2. It has been noticed on several occasions that when there are benches specially dealing with matters pertaining to MPs and MLAs in both the High Court and the Districts, the MPs and MLAs some times lodge complaints and carry the matter to the Special Bench. It is made clear that the Special Benches need take up only complaints against MPs and MLAs and not where the MP or MLA may be the complainant. It is also made clear that the Special Benches will take up complaints both against former and sitting MPs and MLAs. 3. List the matter twelve weeks hence to monitor the functioning in the Special Courts. 4. Let the matter appear on 17.6.2021.
