JUDGMENT Vinit Kumar Mathur, J. - The present Election Petition has been preferred by the petitioner laying a challenge to the election of the respondent No.1 Heera Ram Meghwal from Bilara Legislative Assembly Constituency No.131 (SC) and the order passed by the respondent No.3 dated 20/11/2018. 2. The notices in the Election Petition were issued by this Court on 24/01/2019. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present Election Petition, the sole election- petitioner Jagdish Kumar @ J.K. Shrimali has passed away on 01/11/2020. The copy of the death certificate produced by learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record. 4. In view of the fact that the sole election-petitioner has died, the present Election Petition abates in view of provisions of Section 112(2) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. 5. The office is, therefore, directed to publish the fact of abatement of the present Election Petition as per provisions of Rule 745-R of the Rajasthan High Court Rules, 1952. Such publication shall also be caused in the Official Gazettee of the State of Rajasthan.
