ORDER : 1. Case of the petitioner is that appeal against the order cancelling the caste certificate is pending before the State Level Caste Scrutiny Committee since 2019. The prayer made is that a direction be issued to the Principal Secretary Social Welfare, Lucknow, who is member secretary of the State Level Committee, for expeditious disposal. 2. In view of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we are not inclined to issue any time bound direction. However, we hope and trust that all endeavour shall be made by the appellate authority to decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible. 3. The petitioner shall file computerized attested copy of the instant order before respondent no. 1, Principal Secretary Social Welfare Ex-officio, Lucknow within two weeks. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
