ORDER : 1. This petition was filed at a stage where the counting in the recently conducted TTAADC elections was to be held. The grievance of the petitioner is that the State Election Commission had permitted the candidates to appoint any voter of the State of Tripura as a counting agent. Grievance of the petitioner was that a counting agent can be appointed only from the list of voters of TTAADC. 2. On 09.04.2021 while issuing notice making it returnable today, the Court had recorded brief reasons for not granting interim relief, as prayed for. Resultantly, the counting of the votes was conducted as scheduled on 10.04.2021. The results have been declared. Elected members of the council have also taken oath of office. No allegations of disruption of the counting or of any unruly incidents have been made. 3. Under the circumstances, keeping the question of law open to be decided in future if the need so arises, this petition is closed.
