ORDER : 1. An affidavit has been filed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stating that counseling for the MDS admissions for 2021-2022 shall commence on 20 August 2021 and shall be completed by 10 October 2021. 2. Mr K M Nataraj, learned Additional Solicitor General has submitted that the Union government will abide by the time schedule which has been set out on affidavit. 3. Since the grievance of the petitioners has been met, nothing further survives in these proceedings. 4. However, Mr Viikas Singh, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that this may be treated as an order of the Court to obviate any difficulty in compliance in future. 5. We accordingly accept the schedule which has been indicated before the Court in the affidavit filed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and direct compliance so that the process of admissions for the MDS course for 2021-2022 is completed within the time lines indicated. 6. The Petition is accordingly disposed of.
