JUDGMENT Manoj K. Tiwari, J. - Petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 03.08.2021 passed by Registrar, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar, whereby petitioner's college has been restrained from taking fresh admissions in Masters Degree Course in Yoga and P. G. Diploma in Yoga during academic session 2021-22. 2. Perusal of the impugned order indicates that in view of complaint against the petitioner, Vidya Parishad (Academic Council of the University) had resolved to constitute a Fact Finding Committee. Till submission of report by said Committee and decision thereupon by the Executive Council, petitioner was restrained from taking fresh admissions in the aforesaid two courses. 3. Mr. Ajay Veer Pundir, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the Fact Finding Committee has submitted its report before Executive Council on 30.11.2021, however, no decision is taken thereupon so far. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari, quashing the impugned office order dated 03.08.2021 issued by the respondent no. 1 (Annexed as Annexure No. 14 to this writ petition). (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding/directing the respondent no. 1 to give extension of recognition to the pettioner institute for the academic session 2021-22 for the course namely: Yoga (Diploma) and Master Degree in Yoga. 5. After arguing for a while, Mr. Ajay Veer Pundir, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner confines his prayer and submits that petitioner has made a representation on 27.11.2021 to Vice Chancellor, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar, who may be directed to take decision on petitioner's representation. 6. Mr. Sobhit Joshi, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Ashish Joshi, learned counsel for the University assures the Court that if petitioner's representation is pending, decision thereupon shall be taken as expeditiously as possible. 7. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Vice Chancellor, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar to take decision on petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2021, in accordance with law, as early as possible, but not later than two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 8. Let certified copy of this order be supplied to the petitioner within 24 hours.
