JUDGMENT Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. - Writ Court had directed the Remission Committee to consider the application moved by the petitioners for their premature release from prison. 2. Learned Standing Counsel was asked to get instructions regarding compliance of the order. Today, on instructions, Mr. J.S. Bisht, learned Standing Counsel has informed the Court that Remission Committee has considered the case of the petitioners for remission of their sentence and on the recommendations made by the Committee, Mohd. Usuf has been released and other two (present petitioners) were not found eligible for remission. 3. The instructions, produced in Court by learned Standing Counsel for the opposite party, are taken on record. 4. In view of the statement so made on behalf of the opposite party, the contempt petition is closed. Contempt notice issued to opposite party is hereby discharged.
