ORDER : The present writ petition is taken up today through Video Conferencing. 1. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing order dated 01.02.2021 (Annexure-8 to the writ petition) passed by the respondent no. 2 the Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Ranchi in U.C. Case No. 56 of 2018, whereby direction has been issued to forthwith seal the part of the property of the petitioner. Further prayer has been made for issuance of direction upon the respondent nos. 1 and 2 to immediately unseal the said property of the petitioner keeping in view that the same is his residential premises which has been purchased by his ancestors in the year 1956 and since then, the ancestors as well as the petitioner have been residing there with family. 2. Though the petitioner appears to be aggrieved with part of the order dated 01.02.2021 passed by the respondent no. 2, whereby the said respondent exercising power under Section 437(4) of the Jharkhand Municipal Act, 2011, has ordered for immediate sealing of part of the property in question, yet keeping in view that the main case i.e. U.C. Case 56 of 2018 is still pending before the said respondent, this Court deem it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to expedite the hearing of U.C. Case No. 56 of 2018 and on providing due opportunity of hearing to the concerned parties, to dispose of the same within six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
