JUDGMENT 1. Heard Mr. R. Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Sen, learned Sr. GA assisted by Ms. R. Colney for the State respondents. 2. The prayer as made out in the instant application is for consideration of the applications/representations submitted by the petitioner for enhancement of the award in respect of the acquisition of land of the petitioner acquired by the respondents under the ‘Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. By the order dated 08.10.2021, this Court at Para-6 had made a query to Mr. S. Sen, learned Sr. GA as to whether the Authority contemplated under the Act has been established. 3. Today, Mr. S. Sen, learned Sr. GA has produced before this Court two Notifications dated 25.06.2014 and 21.02.2017, by which a common Notification dated 25.06.2014 as far as East Khasi Hills is concerned, District & Sessions Judge, Shillong has been nominated to exercise the power conferred under Section-51(1) of the Act. The said Notifications are taken on board, and made part of the record. 4. In view of the Notifications, the doubt as to who is the Authority has been finally cleared, as such the State respondents are directed to process the applications/representations submitted by the petitioners before the Collector within 6(six) weeks. 5. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
