JUDGMENT : SURESH KUMAR KAIT, J. 1. Petitioners are seeking quashing of FIR No. 117/2013, registered at Economic Offences Wing, New Delhi in this petition. 2. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that the subject matter of this FIR pertains to sale of a piece of land, regarding which complaint was filed by respondent No. 2, which resulted into registration of FIR in question. With regard to the said dispute, civil suits were also filed between the parties. However, the parties amicably resolved their disputes and statement to this effect were recorded before the courts concerned on 11.11.2014 and 27.04.2015. It is therefore, prayed that the proceedings arising out of FIR in question be brought to an end. 3. Notice issued. 4. Mr. Amit Chadha, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for State, accepts notice and submits that there are total 15 accused persons in this FIR case, who have not been impleaded in this petition. 5. Learned counsel for petitioners informs that one of the accused-Raj Kumar has expired and seeks permission to implead the remaining accused. 6. On the oral request of counsel for the petitioners, the other four accused are also impleaded as petitioners in this petition. Let Amended Memo of Parties be placed on record within 3 days. 7. Mr. Jaspreet Singh, Authorized Representative of respondent No. 2, is present through video conferencing and he submits that complainant Mr. Suresh Gupta is no more in service of respondent no. 2 and he shall make a statement on behalf of respondent No. 2 before this Court. He affirms factum of settlement with all accused and submits that there is no objection to quashing of FIR in question. 8. Since the subject matter of FIR in question stands amicably resolved between the parties, I am inclined to quash the FIR in question, as no useful purpose would be served in continuation of the proceedings arising therefrom. 9. Accordingly, FIR No. 117/2013, registered at Economic Offences Wing, New Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 10. The petition and pending application are accordingly disposed of.
