JUDGMENT : SANJEEV SACHDEVA, J. 1. The hearing was conducted through video conferencing. 2. Petitioner seeks reactivation of electricity meters installed in his premises. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is occupying the ground and first floor of the property and the electricity connections were disconnected because fire had taken place on the second and third floor of the subject property. 4. He submits that despite several letters and requests for reactivation of the electricity connections same have not been reactivated and no response has been received to his applications. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that there are several issues on account of which the electricity could not be reactivated. He submits that appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner for reactivation of electricity connections shall be passed. 6. Accordingly, in view of the above, the writ petition is directed to be treated as a representation for reactivation of the electricity meters. Respondents are accordingly directed to pass appropriate orders on the same after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The orders be passed within a period of four weeks from today. 7. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. 8. All rights and contentions of parties are reserved. 9. Copy of the Order be uploaded on the High Court website and be also forwarded to learned counsels through email.
