JUDGMENT : 1. The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the respondent no.2 to make payment of Rs.6,70,87,715/-, which is the due premium payable to the petitioner-Company by the State Government under national policy-Rastriya Swasthya Bima Yojna for the health insurance cover provided by the petitioner-Company to the beneficiary family units in the districts of Godda, Pakur, Latehar, Bokaro, Chatra, Sahibganj and Palamau during the policy period 2010-12. 2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that the aforesaid claim of the petitioner pertains to the year 2010-12 for which the petitioner had lastly made representations before the respondent nos.1 and 2 way back on 27th September, 2012 and 21st September, 2012 (Annexure-3 to the writ petition), respectively, and that the petitioner has not assigned any reason justifying huge delay and laches on its part in approaching this Court, I am not inclined to entertain the present writ petition finding the aforesaid claim to a stale one. 3. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
