ORDER 1. The petitioner has approached this Court with a grievance that she having done post graduation is obviously major by age and she wants to pursue her studies, whereas her father lodged missing person report and, therefore, the police is harassing her. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that she is residing as a paying guest and wants to continue her study. 3. She prays that adequate police protection be provided to her. 4. Though no specific instance or imminent threat has been pleaded but considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that if the petitioner is having any apprehension or threat perception about her life and liberty from her parents, she may move appropriate representation before the Superintendent of Police, Jodhpur (East) indicating her concern. 5. If any such representation is moved by the petitioner, the Superintendent of Police, Jodhpur (East) shall consider the same in accordance with law and ensure that the petitioner may not be unnecessarily harassed by her parents. 6. It will be required of the petitioner to intimate her parents and Superintendent of Police, Jodhpur (East) about her residence. 7. With these observations, this criminal misc. petition is disposed of.
