JUDGMENT Battu Devanand, J. - This Writ Petition has been filed to declare the action of the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in pursuance of representation dated on 14.09.2022 and not receiving an amount of Rs.63,837,91/- in pursuance of the Notice dated 06.08.2022 issued by the respondent No.3 for the gold loan obtained by the petitioner as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and violation of Article 14,21 of the Indian Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to release the gold ornaments of the petitioner by receiving an amount of Rs.63,837,91/- towards gold loan obtained by the petitioner. 2. On 01.12.2022 when the Writ Petition came up for admission, this Court passed the following Order: ' Learned Standing counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent-Bank, on instructions submits, that they did not receive any representation from the petitioner to release the gold ornaments after clearing the entire outstanding loan amount till today. In view of the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to advise his client to submit the representation/application by 04.00 pm today and on receipt of the said representation, the respondent No.3 is directed to handover the gold ornaments deposited with the bank by 05.00 pm today subject to payment of entire outstanding amount.' 3. Today, during the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submit that in the light of the interim order passed by this Court on 01.12.2022, the respondents returned the gold jewellery to the petitioner on 01.12.2022 itself, and as such, he contends that no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition. 4. Placing the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner on record and in view of the above, the Writ Petition is closed as no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition. 5. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
